US blocks UN carbon tax
The International Maritime Organization, a UN body, had a planned vote for a maritime shipping carbon emission tax, estimated to cost $10-$12B per year. The vote was widely expected to pass. The money would go straight to the UN to fuel yet more UN bullshit. And of course, as with all climate mandates, it would have absolutely no impact on the climate.
The Trump admin has blocked this. Great job by Rubio and Trump.

It's delayed by a year...meanwhile, for folks living in places like FLA, CC is having a huge impact
on their home insurance costs...the same for those in Western states, like CA that live in wildfire zones.
