Up until that time JB produced major bipartisan legislation...gotten us past COVID...lowered inflation in the U.S. better than any other developed nation...strengthened all our alliances around the world and ended our Afghan War involvement while freeing over 180,000 Afghanis from the Taliban's vengeance...just as U.S. Afghan War Vets begged Congress to do. Democrats had every reason to vote for him...until he ran out of gas at the debate.
