Regarding sports gambling...make the case for why government resources should be used to police it.

I don't gamble. I'm willing to consider both sides.

It just seems to be a waste of government resources that could be used to track down terrorists. Shouldn't people who gamble expect this kind of BS for which the feds are now arresting people...and just factor this into the cost of gambling?

Best argument I can think of: I suppose they will start killing each other as the money at risk increases. Even then, that would seem to benefit the gene pool.

It is astounding that "prop bets" are allowed on easily controlled single in-game events...
