Ford never should have commissioned those ads.
I generally like Doug Ford. I think he's trying to do what he feels is right for the people he represents.
But he's taken the wrong step EVERY SINGLE TIME he's tried to insert himself into the trade war. His instincts when dealing with Trump are consistently 180 degrees from the right way to do this.
Now Carney, who has been doing a really good job dealing with trade negotiations, will have to step in and clean up this mess.
Ford just needs to shut up.
