As a parent with a kid there, I worry this will just be another excuse to bump tuition.
Of course, they just proved that they can run the university on what they are receiving from tuition IF they cut extraneous spending like non-stop building and non-stop hiring.

totally agree. problem might be transferring the uncontrolled spending onto the alums.
every correspondence coming from our alma mater has one major body part: a large hand with a hat in it.

Dropped daughter off at dorm for fresh unpack, and by time I was leaving dorm: email from ND
asking to set up a meeting with the regional development director. It was uncanny. I felt like I had an ankle monitor on or something.
