Can we place a larger emphasis on men's soccer
The women look competitive, forget the #1 stuff, but lack the team speed of an Anson Dorrance team of the past. This I wish for. I guess everyone does, but recruit speed on defense which they lack.
The men? Can they internationally recruit? English/Irish kids.

I don't think the problem is a lack of talent in the U.S., but 1) the national team is insanely political, and 2) if you want to get into the national team discussion, you have to work through an MLS juniors program. So, trying to make it like Ajax or one of the other European programs. But, there are a lot of talented and better kids playing elsewhere.
The U-17 looked pretty good at the juniors.
All that said, our best athletes play other sports.
We're going to take over Venezuela's team.
I assume they are good, but have no idea.
