Any thoughts on Tom Brady's dog, Junie, being a clone of his last dog?

Wonder if he has someone raising a Gisele clone for him somewhere in Brazil?

Hope I don't offend anyone, but it seems a little strange to me.

Has the technology come that far?

In 2015 as I was losing my soulmate dog, I'm not ashamed that I briefly looked at cloning out of hope that I could live him again. The costs exceeded $10K (easily), but the biggest issue was that the problems these animals tended to have were not good....serious defects that not only were likely to lead to shortened life spans, but also very painful and debilitating ends. The probabilities of these issues popping up in the cloned animal were quite high, and I couldn't get my mind around bringing an animal into the world with a high likelihood of a short and painful life just to satisfy my own wishes.

Obviously, it's a decade later now. Maybe this is more feasible and successful now.

To be fair, less unsettling than kissing his son on the lips.

Looks like Tom has done some cutting edge procedures on himself as well.
