delegation of sweeping powers.
This is consistent with their emphasis of not allowing Congress to shirk their own responsibilities through over-delegation.
Ironically, this is happening exactly when Congress is shut down.
Our government seems very dysfunctional right now.
It usually takes 48 hours before the Court's website has the argument uploaded.
This important question of presidential power/abuse does not seem like a difficult question of law.
Trump's on again ... off again ... on again ... tariff manipulation doesn't dovetail with the use of "emergency powers." That is, why is the alleged "emergency" here today, gone tomorrow, and here again Monday??

As recently as a couple months ago, this bothered me. Granted, Congress made its bed, so it had no right to complain, but it bothered me that Congress would do that.
Now, we have a POTUS who uses these powers as normal tools in his toolbox...and he is doing it quite effectively. I'm starting to think POTUS should have this power so it can be used quickly and decisively... and not through months of deliberations by Congress, or even go unused due to a paralyzed Congress as we have now... a Congress which cannot even live up to its constitutional power/obligation to set a budget.
Bottom line, China is 1935 United States when it comes to manufacturing, and we won WWII with manufacturing. That should be a concern to us, but Congress is totally unconcerned. At least our president is concerned and taking action.
produced legislation that resulted in a budget surplus and reduced deficit, without destroying government employees lives and throwing critical agencies into chaos....'Months of Congressional Deliberations'....by the Biden administration and responsible Republican Senators produced a bipartisan Border Security and Immigration Bill that met or exceeded what Trump called for in 2019.
Our Founding Fathers came up with the democratic mechanisms for addressing our issues and problems...after having endured an out of control Monarchy...which, for some odd reason...you're comfortable with.
