lives and well-being depend on affordable Health Care.
Filling their trough with taxpayer money has fueled health care inflation.
Steven Brill, who incidentally is an attorney as well, to get a comprehensive understanding of how the ACA "Sausage" was made...including the formidable challenge of dealing with our entrenched Medical Insurance Industry...and still making dramatic progress that has unquestionably benefitted tens of millions of Americans...especially those at the lower end of the economic spectrum, who you hopefully have some affection for.

Steven Brill suggests that we get rid of the "Insurance 'Middleman'" in the HC Industry and adopt a more integrated approach...not unlike what 'Capitation' type institutions, such as Kaiser Permanente and the Cleveland Clinic, as well as UPMC have created...I tell you, his book is well worth the read.
acceptance of the Affordable Care Act. Thats Real Progress, and just one step in the journey to expand HC coverage to ALL Americans, while reducing per capita HC costs for Americans from 2X what the rest of the Developed World pays, to parity with them.
btw, have you seen anything from the GOP in the last 15 years that does a better job on both counts?...would love to see it...wouldn't you?...what's keeping them?
