Regardless of party, 2 terms is enough.
We are not at war.
Trump’s age is a liability.
If you allow 3rd terms, that would set up a
TRUMP VERSUS OBAMA election.

They are still afraid they couldn't beat an 82 year old Trump with low approval rankings. But instead of trying to fix their party, we get whining and lashing out.

And don't act like you would stand on principle and not vote for him for a fourth time,

No way the GOP runs an ineligible candidate. There is no reason to even discuss this. Apparently some members of the media enjoy helping him troll the progressive electorate by asking about this. Maybe they think it is motivation for their particularly stupid part of their base.

President…no way.
Having said that, I doubt Trump runs again.
And if there is one thing consistent about this guy, it's that his narcissistic personality disorder cannot allow him to be a loser.

The Constitution respects the people's choice on the issues you mention, but it does not allow a third term. Not sure why you have any doubt on this issue, but if you just read the Constitution, things will become clearer for you.

It won't happen, regardless of whether Trump is a constitutional scholar, or Biden.
Constitution. He’s a disgrace

True cult behavior.

Now you can answer my question.
“Under the resolution I offer today, President Bush would not be eligible to run for a third term. However, the American people would have restored to themselves and future generations an essential democratic privilege to elect who they choose in the future.

You can nitpick at individual ones if you want; I mentioned just a couple of them; some were able to sign on a member from the other party, but I believe most of them were not. Others have introduced such bills besides the Congressmen I mentioned. The argument is usually that it is pro-democracy, but after being introduced, the other side uses it to scare people and drum up campaign money. Makes me wonder if the two sides don't cooperate on this.
I was just pointing out something you didn't seem to realize: When you were criticizing the GOP of cult-like behavior, you were also effectively criticizing the Democrat part of the same.

I think it is still a good idea.
It reduces the chance of cult behavior.
Your point is well taken.

He'll quit.

transpires.
Meanwhile, DJT is sinking lower and lower in national polls on every issue...GOP Congressional hopefuls are consequently beginning to sweat their chances for election in 2026 if they stand by him. Add to this, the mounting bipartisan pressure on DJT for accountability wrt the Epstein Files material. There's a better than even chance he could be impeached over emails, photos and witness testimonies therein which would leave him totally exposed to new indictments and a vengeful citizenry.
Things are not going well for Donald J. Trump...you've got some decision making to do...how committed to him are you?
Bookmark all you want.
"Things are not going well..." That's pretty funny. They seem to be going quite well indeed for him.
that "No one may be a judge in his own case."...but you're entitled to your own opinion.
There is no such rule for pardons. And, as Biden showed us, you don't even need a case to get a pardon.
(no message)
You'd need way too many folks in Congress to vote for an amendment for it, which isn't going to happen. There are hundreds of reasons why it's a bad idea.
You'll be 100% for him.
But I think it's unlikely, no matter how badly MAGA wants it. Instead he'll go Putin-style, trying to install a puppet president he can control.
America's Medvedev is Vance.
The 2 term limit (22nd Amendment) will never be revoked. There is zero support for that, even though we have seen members of both parties introduce such an amendment a dozen times from at least the 1990's. Those bills have never gained support. They do, however, provide a good way to get people riled up.

Do you think I am defending Vance as Medvedev with whataboutism? Duh, of course not.
Or, do you think I'm just pointing out the preposterousness of your post by providing an analogy?
Or, do you think I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy, in that you criticize an act, while defending precisely the same act when done by Democrats. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds. And your propensity to use logical fallacy to silence others, rather than debate them, is also unbounded.

Attacking Jewish students, shooting corporate heads in the back, destroying Teslas, arson on the Church of the Presidents, attacking Federal agents, arson at Pennsylvania Gov residence. You mean R attacks like that?
All perpetrated by fringe loons just like the incidents you listed. Don’t act like there aren’t loons on both sides.
A Democrat Capitol cop who already had on the job issues. Woman murdered for trespassing. She didn't even throw a Subway at the guy then run screaming like a little girl. Just shot, unarmed, close range, without warning,. This Minnesota thing. Is that the BLM antifa Democrat riots you're talking about or the guy who had it in for people of both parties? Don't act like this is equal footing with the violence between Democrats and Republicans. Was it not a Bernie Democrat who shot up a Republican softball game? Was it not a Democrat who killed Kennedy, MLK, Lincoln, and RFK? Was it not Democrats who created the KKK? The same KKK that was at Charlottesville? Was it not Democrats who bombed Federal buildings in the 1960s? Was it not Democrats who caused the violence at the Chicago Democratic Convention? Is it not Democrats who burn American flags? Great gosh almighty. This is about as one sided debate as it can get.
And I’m not defending Dems or any violent loons. I’m just pointing out that there are fringe loons on both sides.
One sided you say, which makes you part of the problem. If it’s up to you and your ilk, the divisive rhetoric will continue. There is no possibility of the country coming together with Trump and Trumpers in power. You people suck.
No one even cares about J6. Lot is said by the anti-Trumpers about J6 but nothing is said about the bombs placed around the area the night before. And nothing is said about Nana Pelosi refusing DJT's request for the National Guard. And nothing is said by the ghastly over the hill anti-Trumpers about the attack on the Capitol , White House, Lincoln Memorial, and St John's Church during the mostly peaceful protests. In common terms, that is called selective outrage caused by weird obsession over DJT.
Are blind, uneducated, cunty Trumpers. Violence ain’t the answer in any form. What about Charlottesville? No violence there, huh? And to equate Antifa with any political party shows how uninformed you are. They’re fringe loons, just look is the Proud Boys, who U don’t claim to be part of the GOP…he’ll, I don’t consider the Trump cult to be part of the real GOP. You idiots are just temporary infiltrators who are damaging my party with blind devotion to a piece of trash.

the case of Jan. 6th...Ashley Babbitt was part of a mob trying to bash in the last doorway separating them from the rooms holding members of Congress. She took it upon herself to try and pass...against Police warnings to STOP...through a broken window. If she was allowed to pass, then everyone behind her would have done the same, thus, far out numbering the few Police officers given the responsibility of PROTECTING the safety and lives of those Congress members. It was WRONG for her to disregard the warning...she and others saw the drawn gun and heard the Officer's warning...it was her fatal mistake for not heeding it, and instead putting her faith in the "Big Lie" from Trump, who convinced her to join the riot.
btw, all the Police Officers at the Capitol were well aware of the extreme violence and rhetoric being perpetrated by the rioters prior to Ashley Babbitt's shooting...All attempts to peacefully 'dissuade' the rioters had failed...so those last few Officers knew they were the only ones left to protect members of Congress from an unknown, but potentially physically harmful fate. The Officer who shot Ashley Babbitt did his job.
ELP has zero appreciation or understanding of the events he rails about...a true "Empty Barrel".
