USCCB: "We recognize that nations have a responsibility to regulate their borders and establish a just and orderly immigration system for the sake of the common good. Without such processes, immigrants face the risk of trafficking and other forms of exploitation. Safe and legal pathways serve as an antidote to such risks."
They call for reform of our immigration laws, something neither party has tried to do. The Democrats believe that illegal immigrants are above the law, so they seek not to enforce it. The GOP believes no one is above the law, so they seek to enforce the law. The parties should reform the law as the bishops call for. We should have good pathways to legal immigration, while we regulate our borders and block illegal immigration.

So important to categorize everything to fit your tiny brain.
The US Bishops were oddly silent about the mass rape, pedaling of children and family separation by jackals during the massive illegal immigration wave during the previous administration. No need to take a stand on any of that, I suppose.
They might want to sit this one out.

I know the answer. You get your morality from your party, not from Church Doctrine.
Don't bother pivoting to asking me more questions until you address every point of the Catechism I posted for you last time.
...do you agree with what they're saying, or not...if not, explain why. After you've addressed the OP issue, I'll be glad to engage on other issues...like Abortion.
…and the Democratic Party is merely a means to an end…
