My sister shared this with me...and I have to say , it is just beautiful. It is applicable to ourselves and many around us everyday. Please consider listening - it is tremendously useful, eye opening, thought provoking, and inspiring.

Curious, does he ever get political? Or I might just click on him when he’s in my realm.

Church Hierarchy has no respect for traditional Catholicism & have replaced it with politics.

That's right, I said it. From the Pope on down to American Bishops and Pastors. Religious wing of the left. My Bishop Robert McClory and Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich are the poster children of the Catholic left.

Sarah seems like a traditionalist(?). I was hoping for an African Pope in the last conclave.

The problem is, no matter who is selected...even if he is not political from an American perspective, and even if he is making a comment regarding, say, Latin American regimes, US media will interpret his comments in the light of domestic US politics (and twist those comments if necessary, as we have seen Tyrone do) . The modern day pope almost has to be a US lawyer to avoid having his words misapplied to American politics.

Very few of the American hierarchy speaks like this fine man.

In the Diocese of Gary and Chicago, the media doesn't have to cover for these two. Cupich says it himself with his actions and non actions and my bishop says it himself through his newsletter. Has the American bishops spoken out collectively about Nigeria or are they still prattling on about open borders and conflating legal and illegal? The pope's words are his words. American from Chicago who missioned in South America. Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss. Leo is the voice of Francis. Cardinal Sarah is an incredible blessing and he should always be in our prayers.
