IMO, Greene miscalculated the politics of a 2026 primary.
Voters admire courage. Her district would have her back against Trump’s pawn. Winning the primary would embolden her power.
Is she going to run for Senate in 2026 against Ossoff? Doubtful. But, I don’t think she resigned without another path.
Playing long game, Greene should have stayed put, and welcomed a Primary.

Is she worried about a primary challenger? Working in Congress has to be a frustrating experience , that's why my current governor left the Senate. He said it is impossible to get anything done. I don't think The View is taking applications so that's out. Maybe a sideline reporter for ESPN college football games.
