I am regularly disappointed by elected officials, so it is rarely surprising when they do it.
I've never argued that we should pattern our social interactions on him. He's not someone I would invite to dinner. I only argue that his policies are, for the most part, superior to whatever we could have expected from Harris. And I think the first year of his presidency has borne that out.
