Not surprising.
I am hopeful that the Taliban has rethought its relationship with jihadists, though. Call me crazy.

All we'd be hearing about is the risk of attacks Trump exposed us to.
I’ve also been all over Joe.
Can’t call yourselves the professionals and then let this happen.
I also supported under Orange and still do now the need to have gotten out of there.
Finally, there needs to be a little bit of reality recognized here. Many of the bad consequences would have happened even if the pullout was managed in the best possible way. Having said that he made it as bad as possible for which he gets and deserves the blame.

But, as to the concept of withdrawal itself, setting aside how Biden is doing it, I suspect you might be good with it. For me, it is a strategic judgement call. We could stay there, or we could come home knowing we'd have to go back in 10 years. Having seen how it went down, perhaps we can agree that we should have stayed a little longer, and got our friends out first.

C’mawn man!
Just because YOU cant withdraw in an even slightly orderly fashion doesnt mean that others cant.
Getting VISA’s expedited with a yr and s half and same party control of congress is a start. Arranging transport and flights before withdrawing also helps. Not moving up the timeline yourself when you need more time is a third. Listening to your own IC briefings advice is a fourth. Not lying about the lack of risk to the American public is a fifth. Working with involved allies with whom you have an agreement and communicating with them is a sixth.
The professionals are in charge indeed.
