This song is probably the only other thing I miss about being home. It’s a staple on WMMR in Philly starting right after Thanksgiving. The late great Pierre Robert would play it all the time. I sent Pierre an email shortly after my daughter was born hoping to get a copy of the song from him. I thought I would never hear back but took a shot. Xmas eve of 2004 he returned the email asking me for my address and sent me a signed copy of the song.
Pierre died earlier this year. His legend will live on and songs like this make sure of it.
Iggle - can you confirm if this is still being played on MMR daily at this time of year?

He seemed like a really nice person. I remembered an interview he did with David Lee Roth like 35 years ago and you can actually find it on the MMR website. Funny!
He got us to try the Kyber Pass bar on 2 Street while still in high school, lol. I think he used to spin records there one night a week. We figured ordering obscure beers would help us avoid getting carded. "I'll have a Samuel Smith's please". It worked.
Unfortunately I don't listen to MMR much anymore. Sirius in the car. So I can't confirm the Christmas song.
