...just admit it and hopefully vow to not vote for such a person to ever be nominated again.

Schlossberg wasn't a politician or activist...just a Mom who died of cancer at age 35, leaving behind a Husband and two small children...who just happened to be born into a famous family...that's it. Please tell us you oppose Trump's comments.

depravity...unequalled by any other political leader, as he was trying to imply...and you are perpetuating.
Support. Try to keep up
What makes you think I support Trump's comments?...whatever they may have been? That is a strange suggestion on your part. I rarely support his personal comments like this, if indeed I ever have. I've repeatedly said I like most of his policies, but I do not like him personally. I am always fascinated when I encounter people who are all or nothing, and can't understand how someone can dislike two candidates personally, but select one of them in an election nonetheless, and stand by their vote thereafter because no matter how bad their selected candidate is, he is still better than the candidate they didn't select. You don't have to like someone, or support their moronic behavior, to recognize that they are still the better option of two possible candidates...and even further, continue to hope that they succeed as POTUS because of their overall better policies.

I never even hear about these things until people like you post them here. I don't feel the need to follow closely and then denounce every uttersnce of a president who is doing good things for the country. You do a great job of that all by yourself.
As I keep saying, Republicans and independents could've had most of the same policies without this stuff with DeSantis.
I have zero problems with the things Trump has said about other politicians and press members. He singlehandedly ruined Liz Warren's presidential aspirations for eternity with giving her the "pocahontas" moniker, and she earned all of that with her lying. I think telling embarrassingly-biased reporters to their faces how poor of a job they are doing is great. A lot of Americans need to read about the rhetoric of American politicians in the 1800s. Much of that rhetoric went well beyond what some consider offensive today.
He’s an embarrassment. You voted for him…own your vote.
His “many good accomplishments?” I can’t think of many…sorry.
The previous administration may not have been the absolute worst in our history, but was surely in the bottom five of all time. The combination of incompetence and policies antithetical to our own interests didn't make it a difficult decision whatsoever. Whereas you and others speak of vague, nebulous concepts of "America's standing in the world," critics of the last administration could point to real, tangible harm done by its incompetence and weird philosophies that regard our country and our people as oppressors of different sorts. Biden wasn't running the country, so the people around him ran it, and they were people who are now common on the Left who hate their own country. Listen to Joe Manchin, a Democrat, talk about the people who were around Biden. No country can prosper or even survive long-term when its leaders hate their own country and the common people of that nation. How could you or anyone not pick up on the fact that most of the Left despises the traditional values and institutions of our country and especially despises the unwashed masses, who always seem opposed to fashionable ideas of the washed few?
Your estimation of the moral character of our elected officials is surely higher than mine, as is your estimation of human beings, in general. We are fallen creatures, and so I am rarely disappointed in people, least of all public figures.
I would also propose that human beings are far more able to compartmentalize their lives than you estimate. I have known guys who have messy personal lives which aren't particularly virtuous, yet in business or on their jobs, they are perfectly ethical. I don't think Trump is perfectly ethical on the job, not by a long shot, but given what we saw most recently, from the Justice Department, to DHS, and beyond, picking apart Trump and not the unelected cabal running our country for four years, it rings hollow.
But you’re giving Trump a pass. You can say all you want about not liking what Trump tweets. This is what rings hollow, to me.
Again, Character is a huge part of being the POTUS. Trump acting like a petulant pre-teen shows a serious lack of character to me. Calling women “piggy” and other names shows a lack of character, but Trumpers just write it off by saying…”Oh, it’s just Trump being Trump…how about his policies..”. I’ve agreed with few of his policy decisions, but the majority, in my opinion, will prove to be disastrous. The tariffs? Well, the importers aren’t paying them. Immigration? Kudos for securing the border. A shit decision by portraying ICE as “secret police.”
He’s a disgrace and a disaster and I’m happy as hell that I didn’t vote for him. My conscience is clear.
Character is a wash. I vote on policy.

Nevermind the 843% suicide rate of their friends who knew too much?
Trump had Epstein ties too. The suicide conspiracy theory is unfounded.
time and I laughed every time he said it like it meant something. Hint - it doesn't. We know what we were getting when we went to vote. I just watched an old video of Stephen A. Smith telling Bill Maher that Trump had 34 felonies and was impeached twice and still won a 2nd time. That alone tells you how bad the Democrat party was that they couldn't beat him.

You would never, in a million years, provide the same about Biden and Obama. Your only "criticisms" would be about policies that did not go far enough. In other words, you are partisan hack, who will defend any elected official with a "D" after his name and, likewise, will criticize any official with an "R" or any proposed policy by an R. In contrast, I have all kinds of problems with numerous R policies and will be happy to tell you that when they come up for discussion. Bottom line: you don't think much about things of any consequence. You follow a crowd, and certainly when it comes to politics. I would be surprised if you've thought critically about anything in politics for years. You simply observe the party line for your tribe and adhere to it, but I'd love to hear of counterexamples.
In contrast, Trump rammed through the BBB that provides trillions in tax breaks for corporations and the wealthiest Americans, while issuing hundreds of Executive Orders, and vetoing bipartisan legislation...not to mention his influence in killing the 2024 bipartisan Border Security and Immigration Senate Bill which would have provided the needed policy changes and funding to resolve our broken immigration system. So much for DJT's policies and 'leadership'.
about your poor choices.
And once again you fail to post the many positives of DJT claiming you have done so in the past.

As always the leftists will go all in against him, it is the middle that will win the election. I think a more politically nuanced governor could win.
He didn’t want to get dragged through the mud by Trump. Hopefully he will make another run.

The left hated Reagan but he was a decent human being and his image in retrospect is decent.
Once Trump had no power his devotees will simply erase him altogether
Many on this board have enjoyed Trump's steamrolling of laws and norms, since they agree with the policies (and, most of all, they hate the libs).
Executive power is rarely surrendered, though. And someday Trump will not live in the White House.
righteous attitude that is carried by Liberals is old. Trump has said it lots of times, people like Clinton and Obama are the reason he is in office. The are lots of normal American that are tired of business as normal in Washington and Trump bucked the system and beat Hillary. You'll never forgive him for that.
Sure, Trump is an American Putin. But boy, does he drive them libs crazy, eh Cletus?
people like you mentally. That tends to happen to weak minded pussies.
I pity them. Intellectually insecure people often follow tyrants.
Less about them. It’s amazing that Trumpers think they’re part of the “club.” That’s how they act. They actually think Trump would welcome them over to his house for a BBQ. Trump considers his followers dumb asses. He’s stated that he could shoot someone in Times Square and he wouldn't lose one vote from his base. That’s how he feels about his followers.
Trump is no different. I realize that and it doesn't bother me at all. For some reason, he is held to a different standard than other politicians.
Name one president who’s said and done the shit Trump’s done. You give him a pass. I want my president to be presidential. I want my president to not be an embarrassment on a daily basis. He should just shut the fuck up and do his job. Unfortunately, I don’t think he’s capable of doing that. He needs the attention. He needs his cabinet to remind him how amazing he is. He needs his sycophants to continue to gargle his balls.
care about his voters. I just pointed out that none of them care about us. But you must have been serious about what you thought. You add an "!" point to the word wrong.
And I had a big problem with Clinton’s character back then. Never voted for the guy, I’m happy to say.
I’ll concede that most presidents view their constituents as pawns for votes. Trump just takes it to another level. He hates you people. He preys on the weak-minded populous and the uneducated. Now, I don’t consider you part of that group.. you’re an outlier like MAS, Baron, Jakes, and maybe Neddie.
Hated half the country and Biden was anything but Presidential. He was an empty suit. Yes, Trump is arrogant, cocky and brash. He isn’t Presidential but that’s what I like about him and that’s why he appeals to a lot of people. He’s different and Im ok with that. I don’t consider myself someone who gives him a pass but I also won’t get worked up over shit he says that I would say.
in public. He’s scum.
"pity". It screams hate. I'm just honest enough to admit my feelings.
Open borders, wokeism, higher taxes, more regulations on the economy, surrender foreign policy, free everything. The list goes on and on.
Pity not hate. Right?
He is the Anti Christ.
The left is the party of hate and certainly hated Reagan. I don't care what Trump says, he will be judged like the rest of us.
personifies...
Many on the left claimed Ronald Wilson Reagan (666) was the anti-Christ and were serious. It was proclaimed it was a done deal he would get us into a nuclear war.
To claim that there was any hatred between them is an attempt at disinformation. Another example is Liz Cheney joining with Bernie Thompson and other Democrats in the Jan. 6th House Investigation...Liz Cheney had an A+ rating on Conservative issues, but willingly joined with Dems over Trump's criminal actions...i.e. the Country came first...just like with Tip and Ron.
A disaster and an embarrassment. It will take years to fix the shit he’s done here and abroad/.
He is their white whale. Even when he wasn’t President, he was a constant source of news. He will never be forgiven for beating Hillary and bad mouthing Osama. CNN loved him winning again. It gave them something to talk about nonstop.
Reagan Republicans like me despise him, too. Trumpers give him a pass at all times.
their lives. You and I both know people like this. I have one in my family. Opposing him is what tells them that they are good people. That's a powerful force, which partially explains why they have wasted a decade fixating on him and building him into a supernatural force who exceeds the evil of the worst butchers of the 20 century.
their pearls with everything he says. But they also celebrated him almost getting killed. When he finally does pass away, they will post similar things he has said recently. In the end, they will miss reading his posts and crying about what he is doing.
shot and said she wished he had died. I asked her if she would be okay if I said the same if Obama was shot. Her response was, "Don't go there." I said, "The point has been made." She has concluded that I am a bad person because I voted for Trump. This is how children think. We used to be a country where people of rival parties got along and thought the idea of labeling someone good or bad based upon party allegiance was ridiculous. Now, since fewer and fewer people are religious in the traditional sense, they gravitate to the secular religion of uber-partisanship, and anyone outside their religion is evil. Of course, politics and human beings cannot replace an actual deity that is beyond our complete comprehension, so it is totally unsurprising that these "politics as religion" adherents are almost universally miserable. Their foundation isn't even built on sand.
I don’t blame you for bad judgement…in fact it just shows you’re human like the rest of us.

This whole day has been entertaining as heck. The crying. The wailing. The sobbing. The anger. Best part is all this has been brought to this fine board by "grown men". You'd think it was the crazy blue haired women running around but it's hilariously not. Don't stop now boys. You're on a roll. .
