delight who made baseball fun to watch. I loved the way he appreciated what he had and the great enthusiasm he showed to his teammates even on ordinary plays. He would shake hands with anybody fans, cops, ushers ,,,what a breath of fresh air to see this guy and compare him to the prima donnas of today. To think he wasn;t diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff until 1985 about 8 years after it happened is frightening.
