His deep connections to this fraud and its' benefits to the Dem Party give the first plausible explanation as to why the Dems chose him as their VP candidate despite his obvious weakness as a candidate from an already guaranteed blue state.

Billions were lost to fraud all across the country in Red and Blue states during COVID...while
the "Feeding Our Future" scheme was very large, the total amount is judged to be at least $200B...too bad that Trump fired arguably the most experienced and successful Inspector General, Glenn Fine, who had bipartisan support, for no good reason, thus leaving a leadership vacuum in the overseeing of $2T in federal funding.

Full Stop...Gov. Walz had NO connections whatsoever with the "Feeding Our Future" Fraud...Baron is
still 'Making Stuff Up'...and neither did any other members of his administration...in fact, as I've posted previously, they tried multiple times to shut down that operation. On top of this, they worked with the Biden administration to help in the prosecution of that fraud.

Feeding Our Future was a Minnesota nonprofit founded in 2016[prior to Walz taking office in 2019...my addition]. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it claimed to distribute many thousands of meals to schoolchildren, but instead stole hundreds of millions of dollars while providing few or no meals at most of its locations. Merrick Garland, attorney general during the Biden administration, called it the country’s largest pandemic relief fraud scheme.[2]
Although the state agency responsible for monitoring the school meal program repeatedly tried to cut off funds, the organization was not shut down until FBI raids and federal indictments in 2022. As of late 2025, out of 78 suspects indicted in the fraud, more than 50 had pled guilty. Another seven individuals were found guilty at trial, including the leader of the scheme, Aimee Bock, while many others awaited trial. As most perpetrators, excluding Bock, were Somali Americans, the scandal resulted in increased political attention on the community, including from the administration of Donald Trump.
