Article doesn't say, but I know previous arrests of US citizens for crimes were portrayed by the Left as if they were illegal alien detentions, when they were actually legitimate arrests of US citizens for criminal activity. That is a useful way to spread fear and fabricate outrage.

Regarding violent criminal illegals…deport ‘em. I’m all for it. That’s not what ICE is doing, for the most part. They’re apprehending every suspected illegal they can. Trump promised to deport the criminal element…that ain’t happening. Hell, Bush, Obama, and Clinton all deported millions more than Trump in their first year. Guess what, no one rioted or protested. Want to know why? It’s because they did it the right way. Trump has made a mockery of the process. He’s a first class dick.
