reading for context regarding his statements on immigration.
Once again...we need Congress to pass legislation that addresses not only our broken Border Security and Immigration Policy System, but also our genuine need for legal immigration. We had such a bipartisan bill two years ago...which, had it been passed, would have resolved all issues. We would now have addressed CBP and ICE staffing...Asylum Policy...Deportations...and Documentation Processing, including a reduction in decision times for legal status from 6+ years, to 6 months, or less. It would also have installed High Volume/High Tech Drug Scanners for ALL Vehicles (10's of thousands per day entering the U.S.)...the #1 means of trafficking the Fentanyl that continues to kill American citizens.
NONE of this is being addressed after a full year of Trump's administration...and all its chaos. We could/should be addressing other important issues...like AI, and its implications for our future...right now.
Time for the 25th Amendment, or Impeachment of Trump...the sooner, the better...for ALL of us.
