He has the advantage of an amygdala that doesn't fire like everyone else's.

(Unfortunately he will eventually perish while climbing...which is why many people watch.)

He seems to be fearless but not a thrill seeker. Some of the people who also mostly free soloed up El Capitan died while wingsuiting into Yosemite. Admittedly my knowledge of AH is very limited but he doesn't seem like that. Hopefully he will survive to a ripe old age.
