On January 28, 1986, Space Shuttle Challenger broke apart 73 seconds into its flight, killing all seven crew members aboard. Remember it well.

I was in Crawfordsville, Indiana with customers from IBM Boca Raton when we heard of it.

They used to go watch the launches. It him them really hard.

For many kids, space travel was as safe as the school bus until that explosion.

Space is hard.
