Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said Democrats want immigration agents to end roving patrols, have tighter restrictions on arrest warrants, be barred from wearing masks and required to wear body cameras, and use the same use-of-force policies as local police.
Schumer said the Department of Homeland Security funding bill, key to avoiding a government shutdown this weekend, needs “serious work.”
Schumer announced Democrats’ list of demands after warning over the weekend they would not vote to continue funding the government past the Saturday deadline when the current funding bill expires unless DHS funding is renegotiated separately from the legislation to fund other agencies.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., left open the possibility of breaking off the DHS bill, telling reporters he will “reserve optionality to consider that,” but reiterating he prefers to “keep the package intact.”

Democrats wear masks and are not identified when they spit, throw frozen water bottles, rocks, and fireworks at law enforcement. And these same Democrats were all in on masks during covid. Before ICE became they next big thing in the Democrats crying agenda, city. county, and state gang and drug units wore masks without a single whimper from these "protesting" simps. How come? They separated parents from kids . Again, no riots and violence from the blue haired grandmas, male and female.
What on earth do masks and COVID have to do with ICE agents using masks for the sole purpose of
hiding their identities?...which no Local or State Police Departments do...

And yes, city, state, and local PD do cover their face when performing gang and drug busts in the community. Stop doxing and harassing these agents and threatening their families and just maybe they can come into a city , do their job, and move on to their other duties. You wouldn't last even a day as an agent because they are not protected by a keyboard and safe room like you. ICE isn't the problem, it's you, Tampon Tim, Mayor Soy Boy and most other Dems that have caused all this stress and violence. ONLY when trying to apprehend known members of violent drug cartels who would try to kill them...which is NOT the case with ICE mindlessly trying to fulfill a quota given to them and apprehend non-white people...even 5 yr old kids...who speak with an hispanic accent...and virtually every singe ICE agent you see on TV has his/her face covered.
You need to calm down and get over your unwarranted paranoia.
