I hadn't heard it until Walsh played it. The lyrics are, of course, awful, but he also does an even worse job of singing it than usual. He should do the decent and proper thing and set up his own theater in Branson, right in between Tony Orlando's and Mel Tillis's. Is Mel Tillis still alive? I'd rather hear Mel Tillis, alive or dead, read these lyrics with his stutter than listen to Springsteen sing this crap.
