about Gavin Newsome.

Thread Level: 2

Gavin inherited a very complex and disordered HSR program...but the public still sees value in it.

For those who experience the Work Week traffic in the Bay Area, especially on 580, 680 and 101, as well as in the L.A Basin., something needs to be done to improve transportation times. Transforming an automotive infrastructure into something akin to Europe or Japan's systems is, to say the least, "Daunting"...Unless there's a better long term plan, it's not realistic to shut the whole thing down.

choice...same with France. We, on the other hand, have a HUGE Oil and Gas Industry that sees such a project as a Threat to their future incomes...most notably in CA...and as expected, it has opposed this project from the Get-Go with their significant money reserves. This is a classic example of defending a personal "Cash Cow" at the expense of the nation's future.

btw, MAGAs are not 'Forward Thinkers'...thanks for confirming what is already known.

Tell us exactly how much money the O&G industry has spent opposing this rail line to nowhere.

The whole problem with CA is that there is no opposition to all the harebrained schemes you guys dream up. This thing was an obvious loser from the start. But I bet you voted for it.

Wrong. No surprise.
