They beat out Gary & Portage for the Bears attention.

Gossip in these here parts is that a McCaskey family member wants Arlington Heights. Hammond does have a lot going for it with this Bears stadium proposal. Tollway, minutes from the state line. Horseshoe Casino would be very close. Safe in and out until fans hit the Dan Ryan, at which point it's every man for himself. Until shovel meets ground, I'm skeptical. I think Hammond might be getting played but we'll see.

IL keeps jerking the Bears around and IN isn’t that far away

I think they are there to be played…but they are in the mix…and stranger things have happened…

If they actually go there, how many fans will they lose?

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Not many. They'll still be in the Chicagoland area but be free of Illinois vampires

Lots of big talkers saying they will not go but it's just talk.

Hammond is a stones throw from the state line. Illinois residents go to Indiana every day to get their gas, cigs, groceries, and fireworks. The stadium would be easy access on and off the tollway. Same tollway they drive 2 plus hours to ND and their Michigan summer homes on the lake. With that said, I will not believe it until I actually see it. I want to see how much the taxpayers will be in for.

As a resident of NW Indiana, I will believe it when I actually see it.
