'Out of nowhere, Canada became poorer than Alabama'

Yes, 'out of nowhere'. A recent The Globe and Mail article is making the rounds and causing all sorts of reactions.

If Canada was a US state, it would ranked 50th in GDP per capita, just above Mississippi.

Elect a soy boy woke PM, spend uncontrollably, open your borders and treat your most prized resource (Canadian natural resources) with hostility, and this is the result. Out of nowhere. Who ever could have seen this coming? Canada was so eager to copy the very things that are killing the EU.

I love Canada, and Canadians. Wonderful country, wonderful people. I hope they can recover from their recent insanity.
