Seeing the severe stress that is being put on our long term Navy and Air Force Readiness by this exercise, and knowing that DJT is VP's "tool" for undermining the USA, makes me question the real "Mission Purpose" Any 'Regime Change' would require boots on the ground, and that's definitely not in the cards at this point, so this is beginning to look like a means to sow chaos in our Military that could persist for quite awhile...to the advantage of our adversaries.

I just can’t believe he’ll order an attack
Maybe a small one at some point, to try to put pressure on Tehran.
But neither side wants war. There has to be a way that both sides can declare victory and de-escalate.
Otherwise…this could get really ugly. All reports indicate that the Iranian leadership is determined to make this round hurt for the US, to prevent this kind of thing from happening every 8 or 9 months.
They have options that they have not chosen to pursue. Yet.
And China apparently upgraded Iran’s military tech since last episode.
Not sure why Trump is content on picking this fight.
Israel was able to send a tanker to refuel a fighter jet over Iran in the recent operation.
Because the Iranians were holding back their good stuff?
Hmmmmkay.
They weren’t holding back military tech
But they could have, say, started assassination campaigns, rained missiles down on Saudi oil fields, targeted the UAE, or hit any of the region’s other soft targets. Instead they chose restraint.
They may well choose differently next time.
