Iranians have to deal with water shortages, electric blackouts, worthless currency, above and beyond the oppression.
Yet, the regime has survived for decades.
My sense is there’s a short window for the people to topple the regime, but not confident that Trump had an action plan to effectuate that objective.
Maybe the successors to the regime cut a moderate path as a way to stay in power? Don’t know enough re the dynamics.
But, if the people are going to seize power, they need momentum and they need help.
