Can I Tell You Something
Got to tell you one thing
If you expect the freedom
That you say is yours.
Prove that you deserve it.
Help us to preserve it
Or being free will just be words and nothing more.

The next cleric or general to stop the bombing. Most likely a share of the oil prices. I am sure when Iran wasn’t willing to do the Jared Kushner ask for some personal economic enrichment Trump got mad and started bombing. The only question is whether this will be a decapitation of Iranian leadership that will cost Americans more than 100 billion or slightly less. You know the next guy will give Trump the bribe he wants. What’s your guess. Crypto? Gold bars? Reconstruction contracts for his family business?
I know the Dems are sizzling hot pissed that they are out of the loop on this. Except for your guy and soon to be primaried John Fetterman , not many Dems are on the side of the United States on this one.
I mean, why go to war if you don't get at least that, right?
..
Obama & Biden gave the Iranians more than $100 billion. (I know there were lower estimates of specific payments; I'm talking about overall). At least we are now delivering them our money in the form of well deserved missiles, not pallets of cash that they can use to kill Americans and Israelis.

Epstein Admin marches on
...and you think Trump is orchestrating a coverup. Sometimes I wonder how people go through life without any self-awareness whatsoever.
un-redacted save the names of the victims/survivors with the redacted release of all the co-conspirators. You confuse those who used the full release of those records as a cudgel against the Biden/Harris administration - Harris/Walz campaign to prop up trump campaign and trump himself. You confuse those who used the file’s rhetoric to include themselves as part of the party’s administration, you know, head of FBI, AG, head of “War Department”, Chief of Staff and on and on. Now all of those same people are involved in the process of not releasing what was required of them to release.
Under the Biden administration Epstein and others associated with him were still under investigation.
Maybe not a spirited investigation as we now know MGarland was at best feckless as AG.
Your constant misinformation and deliberately false posts only perpetuate the MAGAstupidty we all say it is.

Iran's own money to secure the JCPOA which verified uranium enrichment below 5% with iAEA inspectors on Iran's soil...i.e. no nuclear weapons.
BTW, here's an estimate of how much this latest military exercise could end up costing as a result of pulling out of that JCPOA...can you say "Unnecessarily Increased National Debt"

AI Overview
As of early March 2026, with the escalation of U.S.-Israeli military operations against Iran, the cost to the U.S. is estimated to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars per day, with significant potential to rise as combat persists.
Here are the key financial figures as of March 1–2, 2026:
Daily Operational Costs: Reports indicate that maintaining the "armada" of US ships and aircraft in the region, along with active combat operations, is costing taxpayers tens of millions of dollars daily.
Initial Strike Costs: The first 24 hours of "Operation Epic Fury" (Feb/March 2026) were estimated to have cost roughly $779 million.
Pre-Strike Buildup: The, pre-strike deployment of naval and air assets was estimated at roughly $630 million.
Total Projected War Costs: Some projections suggest the direct budgetary costs of a sustained conflict could reach $40 billion to $95 billion.
Broader Economic Impact: Beyond direct military spending, economists estimate the conflict could cause a $50 billion to $210 billion drag on the US economy due to energy market disruptions.
Operational Context (2026):
The U.S. launched a large-scale attack on Iran on February 28, 2026, targeting leadership, missile sites, and naval capabilities.
Costs are driven by the use of high-end, precision munitions, air defense interceptors, and the operation of carrier strike groups.
The Pentagon is likely absorbing these costs within a high fiscal year 2026 budget, which has been reported as approaching a $1 trillion or higher total.

You just accused me falsely, so I thought I would point it out.
Biden was still in office when Maxwell was convicted. Besides, we both know that the Democrats would have leaked anything that would have harmed Trump's reelection chances...but they didn't.

We, sitting here in the US, should have a greater sense of gratitude as freedom is the outlier.

As I see it (and I am clearly not involved in the decision making process...just watching from the comfort of my family room), an Iran that is either non-nuclear, non-death-to-America/Israel, or both, are each acceptable outcomes. If the Iranian people fail to step forward to facilitate one of those goals, this can still be considered a successful action for the US, the Middle East, and even the world.

It's almost as if none of this was really thought through.
But, you could give this process more than a few days.
Either way, we can't give freedom to them. They must seize it. If we kill enough of the ayatollah's selected leaders, then perhaps the regular army can step up, Perhaps not, in which case we can only hope for an Islamic state 2.0, but one which decides that threatening death to America is not a good strategy, and uses other means to motivate and control its people.
Alternative strategies…like the collaborative ones that led to the JCPOA.
Read some history, and you would learn that.
