As mentioned earlier...Russia is benefitting significantly from the U.S. War on Iran...in more ways
than one. Obviously increasing oil prices are a good thing for them, but there's also the long term concern for production out of the ME, thus increasing demand for Russian oil...then there's the U.S. Military expending so many expensive 'anti-drone' missiles there...instead of delivering them to Ukraine to resist Vlad's use of Iranian drones against them.
Again, Putin didn't work so hard to get Trump elected with no expectations of an ROI...and Lapdogs always do their master's bidding.
