Obviously increasing oil prices are a good thing for them, but there's also the long term concern for production out of the ME, thus increasing demand for Russian oil...then there's the U.S. Military expending so many expensive 'anti-drone' missiles there...instead of delivering them to Ukraine to resist Vlad's use of Iranian drones against them.
Again, Putin didn't work so hard to get Trump elected with no expectations of an ROI...and Lapdogs always do their master's bidding.

So, the US attacked Russia ally Iran at Putin's request to avoid sending munitions to Ukraine...
...and to deplete drones by Iran so that they cannot be supplied to Russia, again, just to please Putin...because Putin doesn't want drones, and wants one of its few allies to be destroyed, and needed Trump to help him harm Russia.
