I hate to pick on my former home state... and I wish they would turn their policies around.

So where do companies go if the U.S. follows CA’s lead?
The anti-business, anti-working class policies in Ca & NY drive those who are mobile & companies to pro-business and lower tax states, but what happens if that model becomes federal? Nothing good, IMHO.

The Great Recession happened because Bill Clinton required minorities get home loans

Not true...read Tim Geithner's "Stress Test"...the Laissez-Faire Bush admin failed to regulate
mortgage lenders and banks, leading up to $60T in unsecured Credit Default Swaps...Clinton's contribution was giving into the GOP on loosening Glass-Steagal regulations.
California is an extreme example of the income/wealth gap that is also taking place elsewhere to a
lesser extent.
That’s true…but at least CA government is trying to level the playing field…as is happening in
another locale with an extremely high Wealth Gap…I.e. NYC.
Unfortunately, Trump and the GOP are All-In on expanding that already Enormous Gap.
It resembles a 3rd world country in this regard.
