Of course after the midterms Republican bloodbath the answers will be more government spending and higher taxes... AND wage and price controls.

And to keep the masses distracted from their misery... two glorious years of another impeachment circus.

It's back to the 70's

With fertilizer costs already up 40% and rising, it seems like we are at the beginning of some substantial price increases.

Dumbest war ever.

There is a solution to fertilizer, just like there's a solution to oil.

Regenerative Farming and Nuclear Power for example.

It baffles me how people who are into green energy, whine about gas prices.

Of course. But not in the short term.

We should force and/or incentivize the short term before our currency turns to shit.

No reason to pump it if you can’t transport it.

Opening that strait (“straight,” according to our fucking idiot president) soon is a vital interest. Negotiations are the best way to do it…if the Iranians play ball. But they might not.

We will not stop burning fossil fuels until economics dictates that we have to.

The economics of such a situation, and seeing how fragile and tied to oil our current economics are, we may never get there. It could be that the entire world of humans has become a petro-civilization. The rise and fall of empires. Dark ages, etc.
