I hate to pick on my former home state... and I wish they would turn their policies around.

The anti-business, anti-working class policies in Ca & NY drive those who are mobile & companies to pro-business and lower tax states, but what happens if that model becomes federal? Nothing good, IMHO.
forgotten the “Great Recession” that Democrats had to pull the country out of?
That was the result of government intervention not lack thereof.
The origins of Silicon Valley rest in republicanism and less government regulation.
mortgage lenders and banks, leading up to $60T in unsecured Credit Default Swaps...Clinton's contribution was giving into the GOP on loosening Glass-Steagal regulations.

I was able to buy a house in my 20's. And before that, I had very reasonable apartment rent. Now, it's hard to get an apartment, even for the well employed, that is reasonably close to work and in a safe neighborhood and at a reasonable cost. Buying a house is pretty much out of the question.
