Their actions are not defensible.
They have essentially been acting as a hit group going after vocal conservatives and attaching "hate" labels to anyone speaking out against the far-left social agenda. Now, we learn that they were acting as a quasi-government agency and working with agencies by funding infiltrators to help perpetrate dangerous incidents that they can subsequently pin on a political party.
