These are people who attend town halls to complain about the dependance on foreign oil and the Hormuz blockade affecting their gas prices and then turn around and vote for Dems running California who shut down oil production in a state that used to be one of our highest producers so that they could import oil from other countries.
They—Dems—OPENLY tout high gas prices as a benefit to their agenda.
Biden and his administration were the kings of alternate energy and electric vehicle marketing.
Energy Sec. Jennifer Granholm supported requiring the U.S. military to implement an all-electric vehicle fleet by the year 2030. For a time, she also owned stock in an electric vehicle company.
Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg even accidentally admitted how much they believe high gas prices are a benefit to their agenda, and he seemed to care little about the pain it caused those who were not on board with their planned transition, as he said:
“The more pain that we are all experiencing from the high price of gas, the more benefit there is for those who can access electric vehicles,”.
Now, I have no doubt that they will pretend to care about high gas prices if they believe it will be a campaign benefit, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Pete Buttigieg is one of the affordability talking point leaders. They have no shame, but more insidiously, they count on us being too stupid to remember their true positions.
The war in Iran may not cause gas prices to drop, but to achieve that goal in the long run it is better to elect someone who is actually interested in lowering the price. If you want lower gas prices in the long run, do not vote for Dems, period.
