We have a huge liberal judge problem - judge apologizes to would be Trump assassin for being put in
a safe cell & restraints (used for those on suicide watch).
The prosecutor explained that since he did not plan to leave the event alive (in his own words), they felt he needed to be watched as a suicide risk per protocol.
The judge (Faraqui) didn't accept this explanation, and then responded with this non sequitor: that he couldn't remember one Jan 6 Defendant being put similar custody. "Pardons may erase convictions, but they don't erase history. They were hanging gallows outside".
He apologized profoundly to the guy who just rushed the WHCD, shot a SS agent, and tried to kill the POTUS.

Pathetic. He is probably angling for s SCOTUS appointment when Dems stack the court someday.
