mean U.S. (Trump) have achieved his objective - permanent dismantlement of Iran's nuclear weapons and doesn't mean Israel and neocon have achieved their goal - regime change. As a matter of fact, regime change failed and Iran hardliners now become stronger and Iran moderates become weaker as a result of this war. "Better than JCPOA" also doesn't mean it can recover the damage the war caused geopolitically and economically which is huge. For example Iran will definitely have a role in controlling strait of Hormuz in the future.
But merely in term of nuclear elements which is what JCPOA is about, the new 14-point US-Iran peace deal framework both sides agreed already reflects Iran's concessions. For example, JCPOA , with some restrictions, allowed Iran to continue its nuclear activities for peaceful, civilian energy. The 14-point US-Iran peace deal framework doesn't allow Iran any nuclear activities for certain years. Trump wants 20 years. Iran's offer is 5 years. The difference is subject to negotiation in next step. Let's say even the final result of negotiation is 5 years (I believe 10-12 years is more likely). This is still better than JCPOA. This is just one example of US-Iran 14-point framework.
The best and the brightest helped craft it.
Trump blew it up for one reason: Obama made a joke about Trump at White House Correspondents Dinner.
US taxpayers and the world are now paying for the Child’s tantrum.
Raise your hand if you voted for Trump. Guess what, you are a horrible American and an even worse human being.
Unbelievable.
They were allowed to enrich to 3.67% and no further. LEU, not HEU. You can use the former for power production and other research-related stuff.
Then Trump canceled the JCPOA for no reason. Then, enrichment.

The verification measures were extensive.
environmental tests for indications of possible enrichment activity anywhere in the country. Iran was complying with the agreement...until Trump pulled the U.S. out...that's when the enrichment increased to 60%.

So no, the pallet of cash strategy was a complete failure.
Yeah, it must have been their money returned to them that made them do it.

if you think they are going to agree to a deal w/o any type of assets unfrozen you're bat shit cra cra!
And then resume enriching uranium on pursuit of a bomb.
Only way out of this permanently is regime change.

JCPOA + destruction of their nuclear facilities + destruction of much of their conventional power + destruction of their power projecting proxies such as Hamas & Hezbollah >> just JCPOA, right?
We can all look forward to the spin on that.

Actually, neither of us should admit anything yet. Why don't we just wait and see before trying to turn this into a domestic political gain for an election?
I suspect the Iran fan boys are going to be greatly disappointed.
There is a reason that Trump is about to back down.
though the nose in gas, risking US lives in combat, etc. Go ahead and be proud of that "accomplishment".
...you don't do that. Assuming you are right and Trump gets a second JCPOA in place, how are we not better off now with all the other gains I listed?
Besides, wouldn't the first JCPOA have expired by now?...in which case Iran would have been free to develop a nuke? Obama just kicked the can down the road to Trump anyway.
But, don't worry. If the Democrats beat Vance or Rubio or whomever, they can always undermine what Trump accomplished. Do you support the US paying war reparations to Iran?
Leaks regarding the 1-page MOU make it sound pretty darn familiar - including billions in sanctions relief and unfrozen funds.

borders by Iranian terrorist groups or supporters of Iranian regime. Not only has he fired up the zealots he has also
broken down US security and intelligence. He has made sure the US is weak at our borders and ports.
