How blind they were to the brutal fact of life that progressivism has a voracious appetite for ever increasing tax revenue that would ultimately mean total control of the economy.

Were it not for such 'High Risk' use of taxpayer money, today's wealthy owners wouldn't be able to build any companies in those industries.

Now, here is what Obama actually said...note the mention of Bridges and Roads...one example of Infrastructure enabling businesses to be built)

'There will always be the Greedy among us'....who refuse to pay their fair share.

To claim that Dems are coming after the Low and Middle Classes is pure fabrication and smoke to distract from the harm caused by our burgeoning Wealth Gap. The very successful signees to the "Proud To Pay More" movement are looking to avert harm to the nation...not cause it. Take time to understand why they have taken this position...

If the majority of voters want ever higher taxes to pay for whatever the politicians desire they are free to open their pocketbooks and live with the consequences. It’s called States Rights and I support it.

Again, a sizable contingent of the Super Wealthy Class see the wisdom of sharing their largesse with those in true need. Besides, their Enlightened Self-Interest produces a Safer...more Stable..and more Productive Society to live in...as opposed to one where the prevailing attitude of the very wealthy is..."Let Them Eat Cake"...

Epithets can’t substitute for substantive content Ara…they just highlight your weaknesses…like being unable to refute solid arguments that are backed up with real world evidence…like I provide.

Btw, I don’t wish you ill…just enlightenment and courage to face the real world of facts…even when you don’t like seeing or hearing them.

Blue State governments are rife with fraud, corruption, and goofy priorities such as high speed trains to nowhere and trillions spent on green initiatives. The money designated to help the poor isn’t getting to them because of fraud.

You want to give them more money?

That is liberal insanity.

Blue States experience Fraud? (see linked article on Mississippi's Fraud)...

Also, had you done any Critical Thinking, you'd have noted that CA's Governor Newsom's administration was working with the DOJ to investigate and prosecute Hospice Fraud back in 2021. Then there's the Federal Fraud going on under Trump, as referenced by Robert Reich's '5 Steps' article...and the fact that he fired 17 Inspectors General, without replacing most of them. This goes back to his first term where IG Glenn Fine was fired a day after DJT signed his $2T COVID relief bill...an IG who had uncovered and prosecuted the biggest fraud (see "Fat Leonard" Scandal) the Navy has seen since the Cold War ended.

As for CA's HSR Project...many other countries, that don't have established O&G Industries...have very efficient and beneficial HSR systems (Japan, France, Spain, China....)...unfortunately, it's no secret that CA's O&G + Auto Industries have done their part in resisting a project...that CA voters have supported over decades...for their own self-interests. Add to that, Trump's denial of federal funding to a state that didn't vote for him...imagine if Biden had denied Federal Infrastructure funding to Kentucky and Ohio for their critical Brent Spence Bridge...just because they didn't vote for him.

Got a 'Civil' response to these substantiated facts?

...as the attached article explains...

For example, our nations needs are highly divers and there are significant gaps existing because independent philanthropists don't resonate with them...among other reasons...
