purpose of a Sanctuary City?"...it explains why there is actually BETTER cooperation between residents and local police than in non-sanctuary cities...and the fact than state & local police DO arrest and prosecute criminals who are undocumented immigrants...but they don't expose such immigrants to ICE who are in fact Hard Working and Law Abiding, in service to the whole community...which promotes trust and willingness by undocumented immigrants to cooperate with police to zero in on the real criminals.

btw, do a Google, or Board search for a Texas Tribune article entitled..."In Texas, lawmakers don't mess with employers of undocumented workers." When you finish you homework assignment, you'll understand the value of immigrants...and the hypocrisy of the MAGA movement under Trump...who himself has hired undocumented immigrants to work at his resorts (do a search on that if you don't believe me).
