Anyone who knows Gretch knows that she badly wants to be POTUS. She would not back away from an opportunity, but she is savvy enough to preserve her own career instead of being a sacrificial lamb.

The fact she is withdrawing her name from consideration for 2028 Dem nominee tell us far more than any public polling info fed to the masses. It must look bleak for for Dems, bleaker than I thought.
