I don't care about Democrat RFK Jr., so whatabouting with him does not affect me.

As for the "Pardon", JB accurately foresaw DJT's 'Revenge Campaign' coming (e.g. James Comey, and Letitia James), and none of them were for actual crimes committed...unlike Trump's pardoning of 1,500+ true criminals.

Or remember when he said that the vaccine would prevent spread and thus you should not invite family members who were unvaccinated during the holiday season? (The vaccine worked to decrease risk in high risk individuals, but it never prevented spread, and for Fauci to make such a claim, he would have to have had research showing it to be so....which it turns out that he never had).

Or remember when he told people that masks were completely useless to prevent spread before meeting with Dem leaders in late March/early April 2020, and thereafter he espoused them completely...so much so that he absurdly told us that 2 masks would be even better than one...in word and action...again without any scientific studies?

Remember when they dismissed the vaccine side effects that were being observed? (All vaccines have them, but the Fauci regime denied them which further undermined faith).

Or remember when he led a campaign to discredit medical researchers who spoke or published findings counter to his political narrative?


How do we doctors now answer those doubters when we have good treatment and prevention options for them? It's not just conservatives who don't trust the govt healthcare advisors anymore, either. We do our best, but Fauci has horribly damaged public acceptance of medical guidelines (to go along with the irreparable damage that he did to our children and their education, the elderly at that time, the regular cancer screening process of our country, the employment of millions, and the mental health and resultant unnecessary morbidity/mortality from suicides during that time period).

And the thing is, it isn't that "Well, nobody knew better". He did know better. he knew that he made shit up. He knew that there was not the evidence based studies to make the claims that he did.
All he had to do was say, "Nobody knows about this for sure right now, so this is the guidelines that we have chosen"......but that wouldn't have given his political protectors the kind of lockdown that they really craved, and we now know that he did indeed need protection form information leaking out that Anthony Fauci himself had bypassed US federal law, and used taxpayer money to fund the dangerous Gain of Function Research...in of ALL places, China.

That "Rule" has been used to slow down transfers of previous respiratory diseases prior to COVID-19, so until it was clear that non-symptomatic infected persons could transmit the disease with aerosols in the Spring of 2020, there was no evidence to recommend either masking or shutdowns...especially since the Trump administration failed for 3 years to do anything to prepare the U.S. for any sort of pandemic by replenishing our National Emergency Storehouse of N95 Masks, Ventilators, etc. which were desperately needed by Front line Medical Professionals, like Infectious Disease and Pulmonary/Critical Care Physicians, Nurses, Staff, etc. Once proof of asymptomatic transmission was established, Dr. Fauci immediately advocated for the use of masking...and of whatever kind could be found (including cloth masks made at home)...until the best versions could be be finally made available to the general public. This is where Baron really messed up...he posted an MIT Study that he said disproved the utility of masking...when in fact the MIT authors could not have been MORE emphatic in their recommendations for ANY type of masks (UHND Thread Archived Proof available on request)

>Mask Effectiveness...On another occasion, Baron failed to actually read a report posted in the New England Journal of Medicine...one of the most respected Medical Journals in the world...and said it was not a real study...just an Opinion Piece...on the positive effect of Masking in the Boston School Districts. I was able to walk a defender of Baron's through the Truth in the relevant thread...ultimately leading him to use the phrase "Fair Enough" to signal his agreement that Baron was Wrong.

>Vaccine efficacy...No one EVER said that the mRNA vaccines were 100% effective at stopping transmission...BUT, as has been shown throughout the pandemic, they are VERY effective in reducing serious illness (e.g. ICU treatment) and death for those who do get infected...and in the early days before the Delta variant or Omicron...the mRNA vaccines were on the order of 95% effective in stopping transmission. Had everyone been vaccinated in those early days, the expectation was that any pandemic could have been thwarted.
