The inability to accurately grade kids at lower levels is a problem

Plus dumbing down the curriculum and removing “tracks” so kids can be appropriately evaluated and developed is also a problem.

UM is adding multiple remedial math courses for kids coming into traditional math majors because incoming students lack fundamental skills.

We need to go back to objective evaluation and selection. Putting unqualified people in jobs and saying their lack of success is racism benefits no one. Can’t fix a supply problem by increasing demand and compromising standards.
