How does MAGA not see Trump ran and said the things to get into office to enrich himself and his family and just skeet skeet all over this country like he personally owns it. This is just sickening. My favorite is when he tries to act that "others" recommend he puke his name all over DC artifacts.

Almost as bad as giving a Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing. Like I condemned all that, I would also oppose the $250 with Trump on it. I don't think anything public should be named after living people (especially not politicians), and statutes of people should not be raised until after they die. Lincoln was the first and last sitting president to appear on currency notes, and that should be it.

Thankfully, I don't think there is a snowball's chance in hell that Congress repeals the 1866 Thayer Amendment which prohibits living people from appearing on bills/notes. So, this just seems like trolling to me.

Interestingly (you made me do a bit of research), living people are allowed to appear on coins. And, for the 150th anniversary, some "Sesquicentennial Coinage" was issued, including the below half dollar with Washington and Coolidge, while Coolidge was a sitting president. Maybe Trump should be satisfied with some Semiquincentennial Coinage (e.g., a quarter showing him and Washington).

If Obama did advocate for it, he was smart enough to do it behind the scenes, and the media would be respectful enough not to report it. He certainly accepted unreasonable accolades from his cult, as you guys would say. The naming of schools after him, a sitting president? The Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing? Obama had an ego as well. So did Biden. Every POTUS does. Trump is just far worse and far more transparent about it.

Again, I don't see it happening. I doubt you expect it to happen either. We can oppose it together if things move forward on this front.
