When arrested, he reportedly said, "He laid his hands on me." He didn't say, "I feared for my life." This was about his over active sense of "respect" or deference that he required from other people to him. Too bad he had to take the life of his victim for us to find out he had to be removed from society.

That case over in Ireland is actually perfect in terms of representing the phenomenon I'm describing.
