But most of them agree with his foreign policy. Don't pretend their disagreements are like ours.

I worked with an Israeli citizen, and we talked about this kind of stuff all the time. He told me that the foreign policy of Israel is not highly debated or contested in their elections, and that when control of the government changes hands, foreign policy is not radically changed. They know they face an ongoing existential threat, and most of the major parties support an aggressive defense.

When it comes to domestic issues, even Netanyahu defends the most liberal government in the Middle East. It is odd that Democrats hate Israel, when Israel is the most liberal nation over there. Just for example, it is one of the few countries in the ME where homosexuality is not prohibited, and Israel has a vibrant gay community. One of my bosses was gay, and Israel would be the only country he would go to in the Middle East.

And yet the gays and Democrats in the US support Palestine, where gays would be killed, and most of the principles Democrats used to hold dear would be set aside in favor of an Islamic theocracy. Mostly this is because the Left is quite uninformed on this issue and views global issues through the lens of internal US politics. But, many on the Left do hate all the Jews in Israel, not just "Netanyahu and his government."

It’s comical the sentiment that antisemitism is relegated to a party

Indeed, it is comical to hide one's anti-semitism by pretending to oppose one party in Isreal

I mean, don't you think it is funny that US Democrats pretend to be keenly opposed to Netanyahu's party? Which party do you oppose in Saudi Arabia? UAE? Do you have a keen interest in the internal politics of Arab nations, too?...or, only of Isreal, because you need to pretend such interest in order to provide cover for your view that "the Jews control the US" when anyone but the Democrats hold the US presidency?

Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar all fought with the US against Iran. Are you familiar with internal politics in Taiwan? Japan? South Korea? Those countries are more dependent upon, and aligned with, the US than Israel. Notably, Israel is as independent as France has always tried to be. We don't support them as much as you might think.

You have created a false fantasy to justify your own party siding with authoritarian regimes against the only liberal democracy in the Middle East. Ask yourself what the reason is for that? Because the Jews control US politics? The only reason you can fall back on pretending to oppose just Netanyahu is because Israel is a liberal democracy, and allows independent parties.

I suspect you actually want the US to stop supporting Israel regardless of who is in charge of Israel. Please feel free to deny this, and discuss how you would support Israel when Netanyahu is no longer prime minister. I'll wait.

antizionism = Antisemitism ?

The answer is no. One example, Chomsky is a very prominent anti-Zionist. But he is not and cannot be antisemite.

people only know antisemitism. After all antisemitism can be a good race card and so convenient to play when you try to oppress your opponents’ different views.

Now you feel same pain that we of the right already felt a lot in the past. The chickens come home to roost, Quest. No offense, I’m serious on this subject.

It's a head scratcher but apparently "Jewish in name only" is a thing.
