...after a couple of minutes of research I discovered that the estimated Gulf of Mexico deep ocean reserves this technology would make available amounts to ~27 Bbls...not bad.
Then, after a few more seconds of research to verify what I remembered from previous back and forth's on this issue, I found that the U.S. Consumes ~7.5 Bbls a year.
So...we've bought ourselves nearly 4 yrs worth of "Energy Independence"...Fantastic!...only there's a lurking problem...see if you can find it in the following video...(for added introspection...do some research on the "Deepwater Horizon" Disaster in 2010)
Note further, that the financing of Nuclear Power Plants Includes Decommissioning and Clean Up...these oil rigs/wells Do Not...as the video explains.

Link: Trump draining SPR faster than Biden
I'm curious if you agree, or if you think only Biden was justified to do it?
Would you agree that Trump used the SPR to alleviate a situation that him and BB Netanyahu caused themself? I don't recall Biden making a decision that had a direct cause/effect to oil and gas prices, do you?
"Trump used the SPR to alleviate a situation that him and BB Netanyahu caused themself?" No. I suppose if any defense can be made of it, he used the SPR to alleviate a situation that Iran and Obama caused. But, I have no desire to defend the action. It is wrong for Trump to tap the SPR like the Democrats did, like to address inflation they helped create.
Sounds like you think Democrats tapping the SPR is ok, so you like it when Dems do it, but don't like it when Trump does. Figures.
the current war situation we're in. To answer the question directly I think Biden did the absolutely necessary thing in using the SPR. Once again, we Americans were getting gouged at the pump because the world was in a crisis. That's what leaders do, figure out ways to help real problems. There is no rule that says the SPR can't be used to stabilize global markets. You just refuse to admit Trump is having to do it to for starting a war against Iran.

to transition to Nuclear and Renewable Energy Sources for Heat and Power. If you don't believe me I'll be glad to debate the issue with you...

about your inability to comprehend the most basic tool in airborne disease transmission mitigation...just come out from behind your faux curtain and debate me...
On this issue, gaining ~4 yrs of oil reserves without a concerted effort to develop non-Fossil Fueled energy sources for Heat and Power won't make America any Greater...in fact, without that urgently needed investment in Non-FF sources, we'll get Worse.
