Park was one of the last songs written by Robert Lamm for Chicago. A lot of people think Chicago's sound changed when Terry Kath died, but the change began several years before, when Lamm ceased being the primary songwriter and really the leader of the band, at which point Peter Cetera took over. That's the point where I lose interest in the band.
Regarding America…Sister Golden Hair was solid too.
Saw Chicago (what’s left of them) in the late 90’s. Saw America back in 91 at a small place called the Bacchanal.
